How to Prepare and Deliver a Great Presentation

Today, members of my University Toastmasters Club Zahra N., Raman S., and I gave a workshop on preparing and delivering great presentations to volunteers of the Bridges Student Speakers Program at the University of Alberta. These students bring  their culture, experience and knowledge to the community and we were happy giving them tips and hands-on practice to improve their skills! We had a great time!

Understanding Your Leadership Style

Objectives:

  • Prepare a talk that will build goodwill for your organization by supplying useful information of interest to the audience.
  • Favorably influence the audience by skillful and friendly delivery of your talk

Time: Five to seven minutes.

Summary

Each one of us is a leader. We may just have different leadership styles. This talk and exercise* will help you to identify your particular style.
